Dr. Floyd is a native of Houston, Texas where he received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Miami Children's Hospital and has been in private practice in Miami for seven years.
Dr. Floyd is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of The American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Floyd is married and has three young children. He serves as a volunteer faculty member at Miami Children's Hospital, teaching residents and medical students.
His clinical interests include early childhood growth and development, premature infants, special needs children, and adolescent issues like depression and eating disorders. Dr. Floyd has been elected to "America's Top Pediatricians" for the last 4 years.
Dr. Ospina joins Dr. Floyd from another local practice. Originally from New York, she received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where she was the recipient of numerous academic awards.
She completed her residency training at New York Medical College in Westchester, NY. Dr. Ospina has been in private practice in Miami for the last four years. She and her husband have 2 young sons.
